Large Run / Flexo Artwork Requirements.

Acceptable formats for process printing on rolls:

• EPS
• AI
• PDF (no compression)

Minimum Screen: 3% color (do not fade off to 0% to avoid harsh breakoff).
Bleed: 0.125 inch total (0.0625 inch each side)
Minimum Line Width: 0.7 point for positive & 1 point for reverse
Minimum Font Size: 6 point

• Small or fine type in CMYK may need to have a stroke.
• Small or fine type preferred to be in spot color when against white.
• Combination of fine screens and heavy solid area of the same color may require an additional spot color to achieve the intended density.
• Barcode width reduction (BWR) 0.0015

Short Run / Digital Artwork Requirements.

Acceptable formats for digital (short run) printing:

• EPS
• AI
• PDF
• JPG
• PSD
• TIFF

Unsupported Formats:

• Microsoft Office

It is important to be sure all fonts are converted to paths, curves or outlines before submitting your artwork. All colors are to be clearly marked to identify items to be printed with PMS color numbers.

Artwork Proofs: Whenever possible, black-and-white or color proofs should be submitted with the artwork in order to evaluate the translation of any converted files. When supplying artwork electronically a pdf of your artwork is preferred if possible.

Color Mode:

• CMYK for full color
• GREYSCALE for Black and white files
• SPOT for multiple colors.  

Remember: Proofs should have all colors clearly marked with PMS color number or name to identify items to be printed
