Direct thermal labels are produced with an ink imbeded in the paper, elimination the need for a thermal transfer ribbon. They create an image of the same clarity and thermal transfer labels and ribbon, cut down on printer changeover and are ideal for short term projects.
** Direct thermal labels will, over time, darken and turn black when exposed to heat and sunlight.
